My Tasting Notes
Nose: Smoke with citrus notes, slightly medicinal. With some water: extinguished camp fire
Palate: quite peaty, slightly sweet, vanilla and spicy wood notes
Finish: Very long, dry and smoky
Overall: Gives the impression of a tamed Laphroaig. Perfect balance of peat, smoke, wood and sweetness. Great stuff.
Score: 90/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

My Tasting Notes
Nose: Maritime with a little peat, a hint of lemon
Palate: Rather sweet and sligthly fruity embedded in a bit of peat
Finish: Medium long, the peat gives way to sweetnes
Overall: A nice alternative for those who don’t need a true peat monster
