Bourbon Hogshead No. 888 – 46,3%

My Tasting Notes:

Nose: Lemon, cinnamon, honey
Palate: Vanilla fudge, mint, quite a spicy punch
Finish: most of the flavours and the spicyness quickly fade away, but there remains a suprising slight smokiness for quite a long time.
Overall: I quite like the taste, only the finish is a bit strange.

Score: 84/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$

Flora & Fauna – 43%

My Tasting Notes:

Nose: Black currant, chocolate, slight citrus notes
Palate: Black currant, toffee, tea (I’m no tea expert so can’t be more specific), a little bit of smoke
Finish: long and fruity
Overall: A very complex sherry dram that you can enjoy drop by drop, noticeable tannins but not really bitter. I like it very much.

Score: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
