Glenfarclas 1996/2008 Sherry

by Oliver Klimek on August 17, 2009

Vintage bottling – 46 %

My Tasting Notes

Nose: Quite impressive, raisins, cherries, almost like rum
Palate: Strong attack but fades quickly. Dried fruits with slight wood spice, a hint of orange
Finish: Not very long
Overall: The nose is really impressive but the palate can’t cope. There is not much to be found in this whisky. Still a nice dram, but not more.

Score: 78/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
